How to caculate family size

I am always confused how to calculate family size when apply super visa and sponsor parents

Here is the example:

I am single, and I want to apply super visa for my mum only. My dad doesn't want to come this time. In this case, family size is two, right ?

If I sponsor my mum only to immigrate. My dad doesn't want to come this time. By the way, I have a young brother, who is 16. In this case, family size is 4?

If my parents have a grandkid, under 19. Do I need to count the kid? And can the kid immigrate as well with my parents.

Only if the grandchild is the child of a dependent of your parents, i.e. your 16 year old brother's child.
