How to become a cook?

Hi,
I don't have any experience as a cook so I want to attend a cooking school in Canada in order to get a job.
I have a job offer in Canada and my employer can issue me a work visa but the NOC is not 0, A or B, and I really want to be a skilled worker so I could become PR after 2 years.
How long does it take to become a cook? easy to get a job? average salary?

You should try Google. It would have wealth of info.
Check Community colleges etc that offer courses, read through, contact them.
