how to apply to police clearence certificate

can anyone say what are the requirements needed to apply for Police clearence certificate..
i need the mailing address,requirements..any link to help me

You just need to piece of ID with photo i.e. passport, license (national or foreign), etc. Just go to local police station ask them that you need PCC. Make sure you select one where they have digital fingerprint scanner.

i am applying for CEC...
i came to know that we need to mail our passport,in oder to get pcc..iam from saskatchewan..

i dont know what i needed.. iam from india living in canada from 2009..

Ok. You have to hand over your passport to Indian Embassy for Indian Police Clearance. It will take about 3 weeks to a month. Just tell them you want Indian PCC, they will ask for your passport, and that it; they will notify you with email about your Passport and Indian PCC.
