How to apply for Police Certificate for Dubai, UAE for CANADA PR

I live & work in Canada, need help how to apply for police clearance certificate for PR application from Dubai U.A.E. alternatively is there an option since I have a relative in Dubai who can apply on my behalf from there? he will be in Dubai for maximum a month.

When I did it 5 years ago, I filled out the form, got my fingerprints done in Canada, got it all attested through the UAE embassy in Ottawa and then sent it to my friend....It took him a week to submit and recieve the police cleareance certificate
