Hi,
I had applied for first PR card in January when i landed but soon after i left for my home country and i plan to return to Canada later this year. Now already my photos have been rejected twice by CIC and I dont want to play this photo game with them any more since I have to send the photos from India and make arrangements every time to receive PR card in Canada. I believe that my card application will get cancelled automatically if i dont send them photos.

I plan to apply for PR card once i am in Canada so that I can take the photos from some Canadian photo studio and subsequently receive the card myself. So how can i apply for my first card then, since by default first card application is done by CIC when you land. Can i do the application online myself? Also do i have to pay any fees for that?

Thanks.

Others can correct me here but it is likely that after a certain period, maybe 180 days your initial card application will be cancelled as incomplete.

There is nothing as far as I am aware to stop you applying for a card yourself once back in the country paying the 50 dollar fee. In the meantime of course you will need a PRTD (50 dollars) to fly back unless you go through the US land border.
