My course will start from 31st August 2017. I got my visa stamped from 2nd June 2017. How early can i travel ?

I've heard that you can leave atleast 1month before your class starts, to familiarize the place, transpo, etc., just as long as make sure you have sufficient funds, as you can't work before being a full-time student. It may be asked when you arrive in your port of entry.
