I have a quick question on the RPRF fees to be paid for a PR in CEC:
We are 3 applicants - 1 Main applicant + My spouse (Depedant) + My Son (6 Yrs age) and subbmitted the application all at once.
How much in total should be the fees?
On the Immagration Fees page:
It says - Right of Permanent Residence fees & Number of Applications.
Question - What should be written in the text box - 1, 2 or 3?
The sum total is multiplied by $490 for the number of applications.
Please advise
As far as I know, you don't have to pay for your child. So you write '2' in the box.
So your total will be CAD $490 x 2 = CAD $980.
Correct me if I am wrong pls.

4. Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)
Getting your permanent resident status $490
Principal applicants (with some exceptions) and spouses and common-law partners coming with them to Canada must pay this fee. Applicants must pay this fee before CIC issues the permanent resident visa or before the applicant becomes a permanent resident in Canada.
These people do not have to pay this fee: dependent children of a principal applicant or sponsor, a child to be adopted, or an orphaned brother, sister, niece, nephew or grandchild; and protected persons, including Convention refugees.
Write - 2 in box , total will be - 980
Child is not required while paying RRFP fees...
All the Best , Soon you will get PPR

Second that. Check the fee list on my website for details. http://cectoolkit.weebly.com/
Hi,
following is the copy/paste excerpt from the RPRF email I have received from CIC
• You must pay this fee once for yourself as principal applicant.
• You must also pay this fee for your accompanying spouse or common law partner, if you have one.
• Enter the number of fee payments (1 or 2) in the box beside the fee of $490.
So in your case select 2.
