Hello everybody!!! I hope everyone is having a great night/day and hope somebody can help me out with a question.
My boyfriend and I have been living together for 9 months in Canada now and, we are looking for reaching the year to gain "Common law" status. When we get the status, I have to fly back to Mexico without him. My question is: how much time do I have to submit my PR application after Im back to Mexico? Does my time living with him expire?
Thanks in advance!

While I don't think there is a specific time frame, I'm going to tell you to apply as soon as possible after you leave Canada. The longer you are apart, the harder it is to prove your application.
Some words of advice: you should actually start your application NOW. Get the documents checklist, start gathering proof of your relationship, and get everything together before you leave Canada.
Believe me, there are LOTS of little things you will need for the application, so its best to start now while you're actually ahead.
Thank you very much for taking the time to reply. I really appreciate it.
Do you have by any chance a link so I can start working on my outland application? Thank you
I should also add, that common law applications are typically harder to get around-only my opinion/reading
My better half and I opted to get married first, and then file although we had been common law for a while
Regarding time- the sooner the better definitely...
