My AOR is 21st June, I passed medicals on 17th July. On the same day, my background status changed to 'Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check' which I understand is IP1.
I was requested for a PCC from Singapore , and was given 2 months till 17th September to upload. I got the PCC ahead of time and uploaded it on 8th September itself.
What I've heard is IP1 to NA2 takes just a few hours or maximum a day, so I am worried now that my status is still the same since the 8th of September. When I go on to ECAS also, my case cannot be found.
Would they be waiting for the deadline of 17th September to start processing the application again?

that's the thing, there's no "standard" time for anything. Which is why I find those stats silly "it takes one day, it takes 5 days" it just adds stress for those who are not in the "average" timeline. Just ignore everything and start following up once you hit the 6 month processing time

I'm stuck in IP1 since Jan 23, 2018. I think the application gets stuck in IP1 if you don't provide all the PCC upfront. Not sure how much time it takes for it to get un-stuck. I am guessing that my application has been sent to the back of the queue and they will come back to my application after the 60 day PCC extension is over.
Yes I ordered GCMS notes 3 times just to learn that my files were collecting dust.
CIC is doing some random 'pick and process' over there. Some people files will be transferred directly to CPC Ottawa which will be finalize in a month. Some people files will be in a loop of travelling across multiple VO until it reach CPC Ottawa for finalizing. They call that process is work load redistribution. If your files were stuck, I guess you are among those unlucky one who didn't win the lottery of 'work load redistribution'.

I know my case is in Ottawa. I also know (just hung up with an agent) that I have already passed Elegibility, any idea what thayt means exactly? my CIC profile still shows IP1 status...
