How much proof do i really need ?

Hello, so my wife will be sponsoring me to canada and right now we're gathering as much info as we can about preparing our application, and we came across the part where we need to provide chat logs from where we met until now but.. most of our relationship was long distance and we talked almost eveyday for 3 years, do we really have to show evertthing ? or just highlight some conversations we had every month from the beginning ? even that will be so much.

For my own application, I showed chat logs from the beginning. middle and recently. I didnt do much for that part, just a few, as to show a timeline of when we first met, and how we continued throughout the years. I did add a few Facebook post screenshots as well.

For communication history you of course don't need to show everything. That would be excessive and unnecessary. The aim with these is to show continuous communication throughout a period of time (your relationship) so you pick out messages/texts/emails that do that. You really don't need a lot.

They can always ask for more later if needed.
