On 21 July, I applied paper application under university category at Chandigarh vfs.
I want to know in how many days they process applications under this category?

I got admission in Concordia university for MEng in mechanical engineering.

I got my passport dispatched in 8 days(working + non-working). But i applied from Pune(Bangalore VFS).

Visa Office : Chandigarh
Change in status : Process began on JULY 01,2015.
Category : University, University of Calgary.
Prog. Applied : M. Engg.
PPT Dispatched : July 22.2015,online notification at 5.15 PM.
Email Recvd. : Recd.on July 23,2015, confirming approval of visa at 9.15 AM
PPT COLLECTED : July 23.2015 from Chc courier partner at 11.15 AM

As far as I Know minimum : 2 days, maximum 9 to 21 days ! W.r.t where you're applying from.

I applied on the 29th of June, Medicals were processed and passed on the 30th, got my visa on the 3rd of July.
Negating Canada Day. So I'd say it took 3 days for me to get my visa processed.

If you were to present all your documents, true to the best of your intentions. You'll definitely get your visa.

profile of the applicant (my cousin ) is as under :-


Qualification < Sen. Sec: 89%, B.Tech(Hons) - Elect. nd Communication,84% from PTU
Internship(Major project) < Bhabha Atomic Research Center,Mumbai CDAC, Chandigarh
IELTS < 7.5 Bands.
FRENCH(level 2) < 95%
