hi everyone how much money (average) should be enough to take to Canada for my first year a family of three(3) ???
i am considering GTA Ontario just to get a rough average living expenses such as (rent, utilities, transport food etc...
Canada can be an extremely expensive country to live in, especially if you live in a large city. If you have your mind set on the greater Toronto area then you're going to need at least $50,000 for a family of 3
It will change based on what are your usual expenses, and expectations. One example would be, on GTA rent is expensive, so let's say 2500+Utilities for a 3 beds apt (or more based on the area), that is already 30,000 for a year + Utilities. Transportation is expensive, let's say public transportation (TTC if you pick Toronto), the monthly pass for adults is 146.25 as today, that would be 1755 per one, you are three so 5265. Food is a bit expensive, but you can always keep looking for deals, lets say 300 per week, 14,400 a year. Plus clothing (consider Winter clothes).
The numbers can change a bit, depending in how you are used to live, and how you adapt.
