How much funds are required for visa to get accepted?

Hi. Does anybody know how much funds you need to show for a good visa application?

Suppose my one year tution fee is CAD 20,000. I also have to pay CAD 10,000 GIC. My father is my sponsor and he does a job. How much money should still be there in my father's bank statement after paying both the tution fee and GIC? Also, how much should my father's monthly income assuming he does a job?

suppose if you get your ppr today plus visa approved and your semester starts 10 September. When are you allowed to travel to canada?
Can you travel from today?

no CBSA stated that maximum u should be there 30 days before your program. otherwise u might be denied at port of entry because u are too early. some students got caught working before their programs start.

No. Way too early. High chance of being refused at the border and sent home. 3-4 weeks before your classes start.
