It is a lesser known university however im sure it is a much better option than a college. Don't worry about the reputation of a university, it is what students get out of their educations thats what matters the most. It is not like educatioan at canadian colleges is bad and applicants are being refused in Pakistan because of that. It is just that those students want to get out of Pakistani as soon as possible so they come across as non serious students infront of visa officer's eyes. A serious student would get admission into a university and in a degree course after bachelors not just in a short diploma at a college with a low ielts score. As long as your course progression, financial ability, home ties, everything is in order. Your chances for securing a visa are almost 100% and you should be least worried about univ's reputation.

Hi I am Ali From Pakistan, I applied for Univerisity of Regina, and got my Letter of Acceptance, I applied for Petroleum Engineering,
I did my Intermediate back in 2008, then I got admissin in islamabad in comsats, and left that course in middle after 1 year, and then started job ..
My profile is ielts 6.5,
intermediate 77%
matric 76%

I have saving certificate of 10 lac, my brother is supporting me his statements shows 7 lac per month income from last year, but accounts get nil at end of month, but now 10 lac is in his acount , i can also show my property with it...

i will cover my gap with my job experience..
