I would like to ask about a fact in general, like, there are so many international students that go to Canada for higher studies from various countries with a hope of better future and jobs. My question is that "How many students actually get settled permanently in this country"? There are always news and facts about students leaving India in thousand of numbers for various countries for education but I have never any information about how many actually get absorbed in these countries and how many are forced to come back after their studies? We generally hear "XYZ person of ABC relative/friend got settled blah blah..." , but we don't hear much about the students that come back ?
It will be great to know facts and supportive stuff regarding this question.
Wow nssnick, that's quiet a heavy topic, and touching upon fears that almost every poster on this board is experiencing or has experienced in the past.
All we can do is hope for the best and try our hardest. Good luck!

Life is all about struggle and It will be great if someone shares their story even anonymously, because it will help a lot of people here.
This fear is attached with everyone deep inside, leaving everything behind with a hope of getting a new start(a better than the present one), I can feel it and so does my friends here would too.
What are scared of? Not to find a proper job after graduation? I think it is the only one fear that could exist.
And mostly for those whose period of studying is shorter than 2 years, when they do not get THREE years of PGWP.
But I cannot imagine a person who lived (studied) 2 years in Canada, got a diploma/degree and who has not been able to find a proper job for two years ?
i think it will be very helpful if somebody who got PR after studying in Canada can share their experience here.
then, we can all know what all problems and hurdles we have to face in the future.
