How many supporting letters from family and friends should we get notarized for our outland common-law application? We have 7 letters at the minute and will definitely be getting the one from my parents stating that upon return to Canada we have financial support and a place to stay until we get on our feet, just wondering if that will be enough.

Read your country specific guide and look for text saying "Statutory declaration".
Some country guides make the 2 notarized letters mandatory, others indicate you "may" include it (like general asia one) so it's not mandatory. Though to be safe, I would include 2 if you can regardless.

If you are a common-law or conjugal partner, provide evidence that your relationship is genuine and
continuing and has existed for at least 12 months prior to your application. Also provide details of the
history of your relationship and at least two statutory declarations from individuals with personal
knowledge of your relationship supporting your claim that the relationship is genuine and continuing.
