When the officer looks at your application next.
This could be 7 days after you sent it or it could be 30 days after they sent you the request.
Could be longer or it could be shorter.

I am assuming you didn’t pay the biometrics fee at the time of application? If so, it clearly states on the application form that this may delay your application.

Just ride it out. The officer will get to it shortly.

My application was received 4 months ago today and I am still waiting for my biometrics request despite the fact I sent the receipt in with the application. Your guess is as good as mine for when it will happen.
