Yes, you need proof of funds even you have a valid job offer, you just need to go to the bank, tell bank counter clerk that you need the financial proof for immigration. He or she will print for your account condition with a stamp for free.
I got my ITA on March 20, after ITA, you may get a check list with requirements, I am at that stage now.
