How long takes WES evaluation (World Education Services)

Hi everyone,
I have applied to WES (World Education Services) to get my education certificates evaluated (for Express Entry). It has been 21 business days since they received my documents. I think 8 business days back they changes my status from "document under review" to "evaluation in progress".
On their website they say it takes 20 business days.

Did anyone recently did WES evaluation for immigration purpose and how long it took?

I have applied for my MBA Cardiff Assessment via WES, following is my timeline


Applied on 12th September 2016
Documents Received - Review in Progress on 22nd September 2016 till date

Based on your case, i presume mine will also be delayed.

WES should hire more workforce and should take less time for processing, this is completely unprofessional.

I guess i might miss 5th October draw.

I had applied on August 10th. The WES is taking so much time it is unbelievable.

Although, I have done my Masters and I thought maybe the more the documents the more time it takes, it is above a month now.

Is there something to worry here? The status says the evaluation in progress since over 3 weeks now.

it usually doesnt take more than 2-3 weeks.
you can drop them an email if you want to check progress

Actually, I have informed my consultant. They said the status mentioned is evaluation in progress and they aren't missing any documents so we will wait for a week and then mail. But has anyone ever experienced such delay?

should have applied directly if you ask me...

who gave the documents to the consultant ? you, or you took help from transcripts compnay to get the documents from the uni?

I applied on 11th September and got an update saying that my bachelors degree had been accepted yesterday, so that was only 11 business days. I still have to wait for the exam board of one of my certificates to send the documents to them which were sent today and it says on the WES website that it will take a further 3 days on receipt of additional documents to verify them.

I wonder whether my bachelors was accepted more quickly as the transcripts were sent electronically through Digitary?

Hi All,
I have a question in relation to WES - one of my friends is also planning to apply for CIC express entry. He is in also in the US. Yesterday he sent the required documents (transcripts and copies of degree certificates) for evaluation to WES via FedEx. When I did my credential evaluation with WES, I remember there was a requirement that we ha to send it by post only, NO COURIER allowed.

Is that still the case? Does anyone know if WES will accept the documents even if they are sent via FedEx and not regular post?

Appreciate your help and inputs on this.

Did you do the evaluation that is needed for CIC? I think the other type of evaluation (for education purposes) should be as quick as you mentioned.

Do they first upload the evaluation before sending it by post? and do they send an email to inform you it is uploaded?
