How long normally process of study applications takes?

I submitted my application 1st of June (My wife applied for study permit and I for OWP).

We got few updates on first and second weeks and no updates then after that.

According to CIC website it takes around 9 weeks for Singapore office to process the application while this is my 13th week and I have no update

On week 10 we sent an email to ask about the progress of our app. Although they didn't reply on our mail, they sent another email on week 11 and asked CV of my wife. We sent them and then again no update after that.

So my question is, is this long normal? Do you know what about others (a friend/family if you have or know) that got their visa from singapore office before? If yes how long it took to them to get visa.

Hi There!!

We are actually in same about applied last week of may 2015 and its now nearly 13th week completed, we have not received any news so far...wife study permit and husband on OWP.Infact our processing time is 15 weeks and visa office is South Africa.

No updates so far after submitting the online application...........

I really have no idea how they calculate the estimation of visa process...
I have no idea about estimated weeks on South Africa but they say 9 weeks in Singapore, WTF.

Is a bad sign if they don't reply u on time even if u ve just 1 wk to ur resumption? Does it mean a denial
