Hello everyone, I have a question: Does anyone know how long it actually takes for the visa office in Kingston, Ja to send your PP back, if it was send from The Bahamas?? They received mine from May 17th, and I was told it would take 2wks. Also is there any means of being able to communicate with someone from the visa office by phone??? Also is it after you would've been issued the visa, does your application status on ECAS changed from in process to complete/decision made?
The status has not changed as yet. A lady from the visa office called me and told me that the application was approved and the interview was waivered. She also instructed me to send my PP via fedex/dhl and to pay to have it return to me. I don't know if the
crisis in Jamaica last week will put a delay, but I sent them an email because they don't receive phone calls. And the response time to emails are like 28-30 and they will only reply within 5days if THEY DEEM the situation to be urgent. I don't is it normal for the visa office to call you requesting your PP, before you receiving a letter to do so?
Re: Frustrated: Need some help with questions and concerns PLEASE!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much! I just happened to stumble over this cite through searching some information, but it's a really helpful and supportive network! Are you having concerns with your application? Hopefully I will have some good news by the end of the week!
Re: Frustrated & CONCERNED:VISA/PP Need help with questions &concerns PLEASE!!!!!!!!
Well I'm sure you guys should hear something very soon. My husband had everything process within Ca, and they send it to the visa office responsible for my country after the fact. Well they starting processing mine around Feb. 19, 2010.
Usually once everything is find with the medical, seems to be the final step, unless the might require you to do an interview might be the only hold up.
Keep me inform and I will do the same! All the best!
