In May I applied to renew my PR Card for an employment reason (the urgent application says that is a reason). The application was recorded as "received" one week after I sent it, which indeed seemed urgent.
However, it's now been more than two months since I sent it, and nothing has moved. The status is awaiting a decision (I phoned today), no interview is necessary, etc.
Does anyone know how long it takes to have a PR Card renewed "urgently"?

Temporary work in France (less than a year) requires a visa but French consulate won't let me apply with an expired PR card. I supplied urgency proof that was a letter from my current employer (temporary relocation) as well as a letter from the company in France accepting me. Indeed, I phoned IC and found out that "proof of urgency" was missing in my application, yet it seems arbitrary. I re-submitted the proof via a web form, following the phone agent's advice. He said plane tickets weren't required as proof in all cases, but that the agent decides.
