I have submitted my application on July 20th, 2018 & got an AOR on same date, i.e; July 20, 2018.
Later I got a mesage from CIC that I have passed my medicals on July 28th, 2018.
Ever since the Background check message is showing as;
"Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check."
Also I have not paid the RPRF fee yet.
Can someone please tell me in which stage am I & how long does it take to get a PPR?
Hi.
You have a fair bit of waiting to do.
Cic has been extremely slow. If you havent paid rprf...it doesnt make much of a difference if you do it now. Otherwise you will have to do it just before you get your visa...which could be 15 to 18months away.
Under the Federal skilled worker program, average timeline is 6-8 months

Mine is FSW category with clb 9 and I got a federal invite.
Still the waiting is 15 months?

Any specific timeline for IP1 to PPR?
got the PPR on Feb 26, 2019.
total wait time is 220 days (7 months 10 days).
looking forward to get next steps done smoothly.
