How long does it take to get PR card (new immigrant)

Hello. How long does it take to get the PR card for a new immigrant?

Not landed yet but will apply as soon as possible after landing.

It will take around 45 days minus mailing time.

You don't apply for the card. It's automatically issued as part of the landing process.

May I ask what is the collection process? Does my wife have to wait to pick the card or can she go back ... she has to complete her studies for three months up in our home country, and then I can pick it for her and deliver it to her.

It will be mailed out to you. Your wife can leave and you can send the card to her.
