How long does it take to get a written decision notice

I went for my refugee hearing last month February and a decision was made orally. How long will it take for IRB to send me a written decision and can I apply for my permanent residency without the written decision. Thank you.

it may take from few days up to 3 month, but not longer

Thanks for the reply. I am told one has to apply for PR within 180 days. Can I apply without the letter because 180 days is 3 months.

I don't know exactly about applying without letter of decision, however 3months = 90 days only )

Actually, im in the same situation, i got my hearing a month ago, and stil havent received decision letter.
