I sent my passport to the following address for stamping:
Temporary Resident Visa Section
CPP - Ottawa (e-Application)
PO Box 9640
Ottawa, ON, K1G 6T2
The tracking shows it was delivered on Oct. 16, but so far, my application status hasn't shown any update. How long usually CIC take to stamp the visa?
Also, the tracking says "Delivered to recipient's delivery partner, Ottawa, ON," Is that normal?

It usually takes 2 weeks. My passport was received today for stamp. I called cic to get the timeline, so they told me that I should get it back by Nov 6th. If I don’t hear anything by Nov. 7th to call them and they will email the officers to pass it along. Hope this helps. Good luckk

My passport was delivered on Oct. 25th and today my status online was updated that the application was approved. That means they put the stamp and now probably next week they’ll mail the passport.
If you guys have no update on the file, I would suggest calling them and asking the customer service to put in a request to process the stamp process.

when was your tracker activated? I got a message from CPP Ottawa yesterday saying they mailed back my passport, but it's been a day and the tracker hasn't been activated. Super worried because I'm supposed to go on a business trip this Sunday.

My application was approved on Friday (11/01). I never received an email that my passport has been shipped. And the tracker got activated late Tuesday (11/05) around 6.30 pm. I would suggest wait for 2 days and call then the 3rd day. If you shipped the priority empty letter thing, you’ll receive the passport back by Monday or Tuesday.
Hi everyone.. is anybody here applied trv through paper application (inside Canada).. can you sahere you timeline please..they received my aplapplicat last Sept. 17 until now I don't have any update.
