Just wondering what is the time limit to submit passport after PPR. All those who have submitted their passports after PPR should have PPR email and there should be mentioned that in how many days they want passport to be received.
I am worried because I just did my medical and also sent my passport to indian embassy for renewal and renewal process takes longer than ever now which is about 4-6 weeks.
After medical is done it usually takes 3-4 weeks for PPR. I am just worried if I would have enough time to submit my passport in time. Also will it be an issue if I am sending tham the renewed passport which will be different than the one I sent photocopies of with original application.
It is not about easy or not, it is more like everybody is away on this Friday night. In my email, they want the passport to be delivered in 60 days since the date of PPR.
You could have renewed your passport a year before its expiry, but you are doing it in a critical time after Visa Officers finished reviewing your application. There could be a chance that they might be suspicious and ask for more information before finalizing everything. You might need to send documentations that the old passport is being replaced by the new one.
Maybe consult with CIC call center? I hope someone who has similar experience in this can help him...
