Hello, so im a canadian citizen my husband is from new zealand, we are here in NZ while our visa will be processed , once it gets approved what happens next? Do we have to leave right upon approval? how long do we have before we need to land in canada?

You would have the lessor of 6 months and the expiry date of your medicals which is 12 months after they were done. When getting ready to file it is a good idea to leave your medicals for one of the last things on your list of to dos. Good luck!

ah oops we got them done about a month ago but we didnt think we would still be doing paperwork, hoping to finally send it off this week, thanks for your help, im hoping it goes fast, seems like Sydney ( where it will be processed) is averaging about 7 months!
