Do you have at least one year of Canadian work experience? The April 1st draw was for CEC applicants who have at least one year of Canadian work experience.

Also - looking at your post more closely, if you only submitted your profile on April 1st, you wouldn't have qualified for this draw. You will need to wait for the next one.

Thank you. Also I have a few more questions if you could please answer them.
1) Should I get my medicals and biometrics done upfront ? I have looked through the cic websites and it seems like it is an option. I just want to be sure I can do those now. (Because of covid and all)
2) Do you know how long I have to usually be in the pool before getting an ITA (provided I have a score above the draw)?
3) My husband is a Citizen of Canada , does he have to do medicals too?

1) I can't comment on that. Some people seem to be doing these in advance but I don't know the details.
2) Depends on how soon the next draw happens and if it's a CEC specific draw. Could be a few days or could be months. It's really hard to guess and there's really no average wait time.
