How long can you stay for second time on supervisa

my mother in law visiting us second time first time she stay for 4months(2017) and now second time(2018) she wanted to stay for 8 months(ticket for 8 months)
when she arrived here in Canada the officer did said she can stay for 8 months but didn't stamp the passport (only arrival stamp) and didn't write a date or no document given to her that she can stay for 8 months or Officer didn't mark anything in her passport and just return her passport
soon her 6 months will b up I just wanted it to make sure please share any info thank u or who should I call to get more information as new rules says she can stay for 2years?
