So Currently I am in Canada, holding a valid study permit and student visa.
So if I get a offer letter for September 2020 intake, can I apply in January? And as the class will start in September, will staying in Canada till September be a problem now or later?
I know I can’t work until my class has been started, but I wanted to know if I just stay in Canada till September just holding the study permit
Will it be a problem later? Like when applying for pgwp?
You already have a study permit? What are you applying for?
You already have a study permit? What are you applying for?
I Have a study permit for secondary school, I’ll be applying for post-secondary
So when does your study permit expire ? Are you still in school ?
So when does your study permit expire ? Are you still in school ?
Yeah I’m still in school in grade 12, but in my back home I have grade 12 completed, so I have an offer letter from a college.
And my study permit is only valid for attending secondary school, and it expires on September 30, 2020
I Have a study permit for secondary school, I’ll be applying for post-secondary
According to IRCC this does not require a new study permit.
If your study permit is still valid, you don’t need to change or apply for a new permit if you’re moving between school levels. This could be:
primary to high school
high school to post-secondary
post-secondary to high school or
any other move between school levels

In the study permit it says that the study permit is only valid for attending primary or secondary school.
And one more thing, I’m not completing the grade 12 here, the grade 12 finishes on june 2020, I’m using my transcript from my back home.
