My husband and I are a bit confused. He is here in Canada with me on a temporary status, but we decided to apply outland as it is much faster.
We have filled out ALL the forms, we have done the medical exam, we have all documentation, and printed all the supporting evidence, photos, etc, we are basically ready to go, but I have a last minute doubt. The address on his form is ours here in Canada, but I am not sure how Mississauga would actually figure out which Visa office were the papers should be sent to after the first stage approval? He is brazilian and obviously this is all indicated on the form, but how do we make sure that Mississauga forwards the application to the Sao Paulo Visa office?
You would need to put his residential address as where he is originally from...assuming from your name Brazil. You can have his mailing address as the one in Canada. The one in Canada can not be used as his residential address as he is just a "visitor" here, unless of course you want to do an inland application.
In your circumstance you need to put the residential address as the foreign address, or the address of a reliable family member or friend in the home country and mailing address as the address where you are living now in Canada!!

I called Immigration and I explained the situation, and they said it was no problem to apply outland even though he is here. They encouraged me to put our address. I've read and many people do this. As long as he has a legal temporary status in Canada we can do the outland application.
As for the VISA Office, I saw the question 4, I hadn't seen it since my husband filled it out.
