How do I indicate that I am a non-resident on my 2019 tax return?

Hello everyone

I'm a Canadian citizen and did not live in Canada for the whole of 2019; I have permanent residency status in the US. I do not intend on living in Canada going forward, though I still have a pension and bank accounts.
How do I indicate that I am a non-resident on my 2019 tax return?
Do I still need to file tax returns going forward?

Why are you filing for 2019? Were you actually a tax resident despite not living here?
