I was wondering how people contacted their local MP regarding their case? Did you e-mail your MP with info about case or phoned, setup an appointment to see him/her?
The Canadian called and set up an appointment. You are unlikely to meet with the MP, more likely an aide and the party being sponsored will have to sign a release.
I emailed the MP with a brief but detailed account of my problem. I then got a response a few days later and an appointment was set up with the person in the office that deals with immigration cases. I didnt have to wait long to see them. The lady I deal with is great she always takes my calls and answers my emails and always tries to get me the answers I look for.
