My mother in law's visitor visa application was just approved. She also submitted her application in the VAC in Shanghai. As I don't know any MPs, I didn't get any of their supporting letters. I included the purpose/explanation of her visit in the letter of invitation. Did your mother get a visa on your third attempt?
