How could a new born baby( Canadian citizen)to Canadian Permanent Residents could help in their citizenship?
We are based in Toronto and got our PR two months ago.

It doesn't make a difference. You will still need to follow the normal route of citizenship.

In Canada one of the parent should be citizen for the kid to get citizenship. Get PR for your kid and when ever you apply for citizenship, the kids application will also go along with it.

The baby can't help in any way. You have to qualify for citizenship just like everyone else - by living in Canada for 3 out of the last 4 years before applying.

Explorer101, you should read up a bit more before you post. A child born in Canada is automatically a Canadian citizen unless the parents are foreign diplomats. The parents do not need to be Canadian.

Enough sources for you? One parent must be Canadian ONLY IF THE CHILD IS BORN OUTSIDE CANADA.

Agree. This is correct. The parents' status is irrelevant.
