how come I get the points early?

hi guys,

good news and bad news.

i just got ITA with 475 points. I wasn't expect this thing until next month. This is because in December this year, i will have my 3 years foreign work experience.

However, I logged into the system after receiving invitation email from the Department. It shows my points are already 475, which means they give the work experience points to me two weeks early!!!!

Anyone knows what should I do and should I accept the invitation?

So long as you entered your dates of employment correctly, then you don't have anything to worry about! IRCC counts experience month to month and not day to day, so maybe you just made it to 3 years of experience under that calculation..

I got the following records for my application

December 2016 - July 2019 ----- my first job
July 2019 - Current ---- my current job

I dont have any gap between two jobs when i quit in July this year. Is this possible that the system may double count July as two months?

The system doesn't allow the users to enter the exact dates of jobs, only the month.

I got the following records for my application

You can submit the app after 3 years. But with that much points yes, we got it's a few days after submitting. I dont know what the points have been like these days. I think you can decline and still get one every draw.

Oh wow! Last year they were 440. I'm not sure. By the way search for "11 months" on the forum. I've seen people in your case but font remember what the recommendations were

I got this ITA simply because this system gave me extra points early for three year work experience which I shouldn't have technically. Without this, I would be on 450 and it's way below this round's minimum cut-off (472).

Still confused and dont know what should I do. Do you have any experience re this early awarded points?

I searched the forums for similar situations like yours, and there seems to be conflicting advice and experiences. Hopefully someone better informed can answer this
