How can PR bring new born back to Canada?

Hi everyone!

I am permanent resident of Canada. I am planning to deliver my baby in China this year and then bring it back to Canada. I am wondering what do I need to prepare in order to bring the baby back to Canada?

And, once I bring the baby to Canada, how can I apply for immigrate status for the new born?

1. Your difficulty will be getting a visitor visa (TRV) for the child. It is quite possible that it will be refused and either you or your spouse would have to return to Canada to sponsor the child.
