How can i sponsor my stepfather even if his name is note mentioned currently on documents

Can i sponsor my stepfather if his name is not mentioned on my passport, any infian documents or Canada's documents all carrying biological father's name, he passed away when I was 14 years but we didn't change a name my mom remarried got a stepfather at the age of 20 but still documents carrying name of biological father.
However, affidavits, and adaptation documents carrying his name and explanations, like marriage certificate we have which explains, and death certificate of biological father. So can it become an issue while sponsor my parents?

This is not a family sponsorship issue. Post under visitor visas. Also just google - supervisa step parent.

Sponsorship is for PGP. It is a lottery based on your income that hasn’t been open to new profiles since 2020. Read the PGP rules.

But you can sponsor your mom. Once your mom became PR, she can sponsor him. Similarly, you can sponsor your spouse or common-law partner.

No. Mother would include the step father as a dependent in the PGP applicaiton and they would get PR together. Much faster than only sponsoring the mother first.
