Please don't double post.

An invitation letter is not necessary. Even if you had relatives/friends in Canada, it would not be binding on them.

You would need to prove you are a genuine short-term visitor. You can include provisional/tentative flight bookings and hotel reservations. Don't book/pay for anything until a TRV is issued
