Hotel Quarentine

Hi,

I will be travelling back to Canada from India in week time. Want to know recent hotel quarantine rules by Canadian government in Toronto and Montreal airport. Has anyone recently travelled back to Canada. If so, can you answer my following questions:

1) Do we have to book three days of hotel before we land in Toronto/Montreal airport OR can we book once we land
2) Have you faced difficulty booking hotel
3) If two adults are travelling are they allowed to share room
2) Do we get tested immediately after we land in Toronto/Montreal airport
3) Average how long we have to wait before we get test results and allowed to leave the hotel
4) Cost associated with hotel stay in Toronto/Montreal
5) If we have connecting flights how this work

I only know the following:

1) Yes, you to book the hotel stays if you board flight directly to Canada
2) Two adults traveling are allowed to share room (If fact, they have rates for couples)

3. Yes you can share room
4. Yes tested when you land at the airport.
5. Tests can take up to 72 hours.
6. When finish quarantine, return to the airport for your connecting flight.

Costs are dependent on the hotel.
