A new visitor here and looking for basic information on Police Checks from Hong Kong.
I enquired with the HK Police Dpt and understand they only send the CCOC to the Visa Office. Now I don't have a visa office assigned yet since I haven't submitted my application on myCIC yet. Has anyone requested the PCC from HK PD before. How did you manage without an address. If you provided an address which one was it that you provided.
Mate have actually researched on my CIC already, It is not clear. And over and above the HK Visa Office has not listed their address on the IRCC website too
Do I need to provide a Police Certificate with my Application for Permanent Residence?
No. Citizenship and Immigration Canada will send you a letter requesting a police certificate after you send your Application for Permanent Residence. You must bring that letter when you apply for a Police Certificate.
You need to wait for CIC to send you a request letter after you have submitted your application in MyCIC. This will allow you to apply for the police check with the HK PD.
I am new to this forum but I am looking forward to getting an answer from the more seasoned/experienced people here. I have got ITA for the OINP stream and need to submit my PCC from HK as I have been working in HK for the last 4 years.
The letter received through myCIC does not have any address on it and the HK Police is asking for an address to send the letter to.
My queries are 2 fold:
Where can I find my visa processing office?
Where can I get the letter with the relevant address?

Kindly mail to CIC asking them to update the address in the requesting letter, they will reply you back asap and submit that letter to HK Police Department for generating the Hk PCC.
Once the HK PCC is generated, the HK Police Department will directly send your certificate of no conviction or criminal to CIC against your application ID.
