I went for my medicals yesterday and the doctor said my blood pressure was high, I then asked her if that can disqualify me and she said no but if my lab results shows some sign, they may require more test. Do you think it is a good sign? I am a bit worried.
A high blood pressure isn't something to worry about really. They may need more tests but providing you are under 40 you aren't likely to be a threat to the Canadian health service.

Like many I have white coat syndrome , so I did a 24 hour ambulatory blood presuure test (a portable machine you carry for a day) and my average bp was perfectly normal, so i did not have to go through additional tests, ask your doctor if you should do this too.
Treated Blood Pressure (BP that is under control with medication) shouldn't be an issue. However, the doctors might prescribe additional tests (particularly that checks the condition of the heart) for applicants with high BP.
