hello... awhile ago i was very positive when i saw my ecas states that a decision has been made thinking that it could be a good sign but since i read this...

but normal if reject and mention decision made u will see teh office will contact u regard the decision but they didint mention any thing

pls reply


DOES THIS MEAN THAT IF IT IS REJECTED NORMALY THEY WILL SAY THAT THE OFFICE WILL CONTACT YOU REGARDING THE DECISION OF YOUR APPLICATION? PLEASE HELP..... I GOT SCARED.... I CANNOT SLEEP AND EAT PLEASE... ANY ADVICE AND I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT???


AND PLEASE DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHEN THE PASSPORT TOGETHER WITH THE APPROVAL OR REJECTION LETTER WILL BE SENT TO YOU BY THE TIME THE ECAS HAS CHANGED TO DECISION MADE... PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

Is this for the sponsorship application or the main application? What does your 'Decision Made' comment say exactly?

I've received my letter of sponsorship approval. The decision made on e-cas said the following :

"We received your application to sponsor ***** ***** on August 18, 2009.

We started processing your application on September 15, 2009.

We sent you a letter on September 15, 2009 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. "

Hey, in what stage your application is? and based on that we can help you. But based on what I read over this forum, in the family class you don't get rejected without an interview, unless you are still in the sponsorship stage, and you didn't meet the requirement.

by the way i am already in the main application...

here is my timeline... although i forgot some of the exact dates...



Sent Application to mississauga: june 2009
Sponsorship Approval: first week of july 2009
application sent to local embassy: not sure as well...
Passport request: july 21, 2009
Quebec approval: August 15, 2009
passport recieved by local embassy: (together with other requested documents) sept 2, 2009
ECAS changed from in process to decision made: october 26, 2009

here's what stated exactly:

Permanent Residence
We started processing your application on July 21, 2009.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

WHAT DO YOU THINK? PLEASE REPLY THANK YOU VERY MUCH... ANY ADVICE WOULD REALLY GIVE ME PEACE OF MIND..

If they asked you for your passport I don't see why you should be rejected unless something is amiss with your papers.

It could just mean a GOOD decision because they asked you to send your passport in.

I believe when they ask for your passport it means that it's approved and they will be issueing your visa. And isn't your timeline already stating PR approved : "Quebec approval: August 15, 2009"
