I dont think it will effect your visa because they mainly concerned diseases which are easily spread and deathly diseases. like HIV, TUBERCULOSIS, ANY AIR BORN FLU, ASTHAMA IS ALSO CONCERNED AS IT IS COLD COUNTRY. But am not sure about hepatitis, its not so deathly and does not effect other so easily
Hepatitis MAY effect your visa. It's up to them. Coz it requires constant medical attention / supervision / dosage and as Canadian Health care is so expensive, it may rip you apart. BP, Sugar kind of things are of no concerns for VO, but Hepatitis is definitely a concern. They may ask you to wait till you get fully healthy to apply again. But, I heard, they require at least 1 year after your medication is complete and is free from Hepatitis to be considered HEALTHY.
When i got my blood sample for my student visa an year ago, i was asked different question by the doctor regarding my health and one of them was also about H b..I got my student visa because my health was ok..But i dont exactly remember if they took H b test in my blood or not..However, it is very likely that they might test you for this disease, i am 100% sure they check TB and some other diseases in your blood, its hard to say if they wont check you for your H B..
more than that if you have H b your blood and urine level will show abnormal signs which may lead to further investigation..I think the best bet for you to stay healthy and treat yourself first before you actually go to Canada..Get yourself a good treatment and when you get totally healthy and fit than think about getting education abroad.
@Scylla, hep is on the list in the form where you would tick if you have it, but is it on the actual blood test, as i've read other places on the forum they say it's not in the actual medical test..
