I have submitted my application recently. Can you tell me if I will pass my medical
During my, Medical HBsAg came back as positive with 3970 S/CO.
I was shocked as it was an accidental detection and I am a healthy person.
Then they sent me to additional tests like LFT and then HBeAg, HBeAB, HBV viral load.
LFT, ATL, SGPT all came back normal (Well within the range)
HBeAg came back as negative
HBeAB came back as 0.01 (Reactive) (its reverse, ranges say <=1.00 reactive while >1.00 is non reactive)
HBV Viral load 432 IU/ML. The doctor said no treatment needed.
Doctor wrote a letter stating: AntiHBe +ve HBV infection
Low viral load (432 IU/ML)
No Clinical/Investigatory evidence of Liver disease
less than 1 should be fine
less than 1 should be fine
Thanks, you mean HBeAb less than 1 is fine?
what did your doc say? he or she would tell you if that is ok or not
He said, I don't need treatment now but needs monitoring every 6 months. Also, he said he can't predict how CIC would decide on the report.
If they sent your medical exam, it shouldn't be a problem. If there is a problem, they won't send it but refer you to some specialists. There is a big chance you will be fine.
I passed my medical exam! Thank you so much for the help!
Am also HBsAg carrier. Trying to get job in Canada. Is it possible to get job in medical field.
Am chronic non replicating carrier, E antigen negative, viral load 111 iu/ml and no medication. SGPT, SGOT and all parameters are normal.
Please friends give me some guidance.
