CIC e-mailed me asking for an FBI Police Certificate (Identity History Summary) giving me exactly 60 days to respond.
I sent a request to get one today and the FBI web page is telling me that it's going to take 14 weeks, excluding mailing time, to be completed.
Question is how can I get more time than 60 days to complete the CIC request? Whom or how can I get more time?

Send proof of payment and the page stating 14wks to CIC. They're very aware of the FBI wait timing. Then send it when you get it...
Send by IRCC web form (case specific enquiry).
