..I recently ordered GCMS notes for TRV and Spousal Application
Today I received notes for TRV, but it also has my spousal application # under associated app.
my question is would I get another set of notes for my Spousal application? As I did do two application for GCMS and paid 10$ for two separate application
Moving on:
My GCMS is something like this
Eligibility Assessment: Recommend interview
Criminality- Passed-Bio
( does this mean criminality is cleared?)
Security (blank)
File sharing- Complete
Misrepresentation (blank)
Biometrics- Received NRT
also it means officer has concern about application and relationship.
( I applied for TRV to do family visit to see my spouse)
Do they do interviews for TRV?
another thing, when I asked about my visit visa application couple weeks ago they responded with pending officer review.
please any insight or someone with similar experiences share some insight??
Also helps to understand what country you are in to tell more.
Additionally, some statuses are set in error. If you see "recommended interview" but nowhere else in the notes is there a recommendation for an interview, it's either (a) security or criminality related, thus removed from the notes, or (b) an error in the status.
I am applying from Bangladesh, It has mentioned recommended interview twice and also in the end notes they wrote they have concerned with my application and relationship.
Again, it's not entirely clear if the notes are from the spousal application or the TRV application. It is possible, given the directions around COVID-19 and family reunification, that a relationship concern may lead to an interview for a TRV.
Well I mean the email does mention it is for temporary residence and correspondence with them only shows the inquiry I have made for TRV and responses they have given me for that particular application.
No activity or correspondence was shown in GCMS that mentioned the spousal application accept in associated application.
Just very odd that they have recommended interview for TRV and I am also stuck with no passport as I have submitted my original passport with my TRV application.
So because Canada is creating opportunities for spouses to be in Canada even when they may not have been allowed in, in the past, they have to be satisfied that you are genuinely the spouse of a Canadian. Given the public policies around COVID, it's not surprising that this may be happening.
What are the concerns raised in what must be your TRV notes then?
"Having reviewed all documentation provided by the Applicant, I am of the opinion that the Applicant's relationship to NAME, spouse in Canada, may not be genuine given that the Applicant is actually purple reptilian kitten eater from outer space. Recommend interview."
