Hello,

I am currently in Canada under PGWP which will expire in a months time. I finally found an employer who is willing to submit an LMIA for me. They finally submitted it and I am looking to extend my WP. The questionnaire and help page on CIC state that I can apply for an extension if I can provide proof of submission of LMIA. However, when i go to the form to fill the details and I select LMIA stream, it asks for LMIA number. I dont have this information yet. What do I do?

Also, should I be choosing an open work permit or LMIA stream?

Does anyone in here have any experience dealing with LMIA and all that?

Any information will help a lot.
