Friends , I had a query regarding a recent email i got from IRCC and was hoping to get some guidance/help
Background I received ITA in Feb'20 under CEC category and submitted my AOR in 30/Mar . As part of my application i submitted my medicals upfront . i had my medical done around 15th March however my wife had her medicals done in Nov'20 last year and we had to submit this since they would not allow new medicals to be done in one year. My medical result says
Latest update:
Review of medical results - April 20, 2021:You passed the medical exam.
Now i got an below email from IRCC in 1st June , wondering this was something that was generically sent out to all applications or was it specific for me.
We are writing to you about an important update related to your Express Entry application submission. As you may already know an Immigration Medical Examination (IME) is required as part of your application for permanent residence.
Due to COVID-19, we have made some changes to the way you can meet this requirement.
If you are currently in Canada, we understand that you may not be able to secure an appointment for an IME within a short timeframe and we will accept proof of an appointment booked in some circumstances. Please visit Medical exams for Express Entry for full details before you arrange your IME.
Thanks in advance
If you’ve already completed your IME, please proceed with your application submission as usual.
